I guess if you don't jump you'll never know if you can fly

Lately I've found myself spending some time pretty much every evening out in the yard. I'm often taking care of some little task; sometimes I just get distracted when I take stuff out to the compost pile. I need to get the hammock up. Getting the furniture back out there is on the "Daddy-do" list when he comes in a couple weeks- I just can't move that teak stuff by myself. Too big!

It's been nice, though, to be outdoors a little more lately between yard time and walking to work. I realize how bad I've been about that for...oh, too long....and how good it is for my soul. Tonight I went out to water my baby trees and was very excited to find a few things, which will constitute my pictorial happiness/gratitude list for the day:

The above two give me good hope for the grapes this year. They were terrific (and underappreciated by me) last year.
My baby peach tree has a peach on it!

And my baby nectarine tree has several nectarines!

The lonely apple...it was the only one that was anywhere near my eye-level, at least.

Likely taking the night off tomorrow- Idaho travel and a little Reckless Kelly to see.
