I was going to ramble about the fact that John McCain, a veteran, has designs on limiting services provided by the VA even more than they are already limited. Yes, I understand that the VA is ill-equipped to take care of all of the soldiers coming home from Iraq with burns, head injury, and PTSD. Might not the better solution be to increase support, rather than sacrificing people who are already struggling to get adequate health care? If he's willing to treat his military brethren and sistren like this, I'm afraid of what he'll do to everyone else who relies on federal support for their healthcare. I might never get paid again for about 60% of the medical care I provide if his philopsophy about the VA extends to Medicaid, Medicare, and CHIP programs.
But since that ramble is a bit like shooting fish in a barrel, here's a fun new tidbit for all of us to chew on today.

Let me get this right...I'm suing you because you won't keep me on the team- even though my past performance shows I'm clearly not among the 6 or 7 most talented members of the team? Oh, and I know that 5 of my teammates sent an email saying I should be removed, but I'm sure that was a misunderstanding. If it wasn't, maybe I should sue them for libel or defamation of character.
But....but....but....I wanna be a professional golfer!!!
And to think this kid's father was a candidate for the Presidency. To borrow from Joe Biden, I guess that "noun...verb...9/11" isn't good enough to keep you on the golf team at Duke.
