Hope in Zimbabwe.
This is timely for me in an eerie way- in the walking terminal in Atlanta between Terminal T and Terminal A, they have Zimbabwean sculpture that is amazing and beautiful. Yesterday I did my usual and walked rather than riding the train so that I could revel in that sculpture. At the time I had forgotten about all of the recent upheaval in Zimbabwe, though it now makes me wonder how the artists responsible for that sculpture are faring right now.
On a more sanguine note, how can you calculate inflation of 11 million percent, much less 40 million percent? I'm not that good at math.
