There's two kinds of people in the world- the day people and the night people

1. One of my research mentees has made it across the first hurdle towards a major fellowship award that would support her for the next two years. I am SO proud of her, and I am very excited to be part of that process.
2. Happy parents in what is (for a few more hours) my almost-pediatric burn unit. I think the average age of our patients right now is around 10. It's a bit odd (almost like being back at Shriners!), but it's pleasant.
3. Waking up to the Boy Wonder sleeping on my left foot this morning. It has been aching a little this week so I suppose he's trying to help it finish healing.
