And I've done some growing up but I've never lost the child in me

Admittedly, if you review the song choices on my blog you'll find that I'm a little bit of a Reckless Kelly aficionado. Under the Table and Above the Sun has become the object of my affection once again, maybe because of the "ski songs", undoubtedly because it has the songs on it that stay my favorites over time. No point to this, really, other than encouraging those who haven't heard RK or this album to find it. It will make your life lyrically and musically richer.

Happiness/ Gratitude list, 2 November 2008:
  1. Having someone I care about to lean on- literally- during my 3 a.m. trauma silliness. No, we weren't inappropriate (we're both better kids than that). It was just good to have him close by. And yes, I think I'm kinda smitten. That's not a bad thing.
  2. Singing at church this morning. Craig Courtney's "If you seek me". This is, quite simply, my favorite solo ever. Someone commented to me between services, "It was so clear that came from your heart." And it did.
  3. Rainy weather + naps.
  4. Yoga this evening. I think I've found my new Sunday late afternoon/ early evening addiction.
  5. Cooking myself a respectable supper for the first time in too long. New recipe, great outcome.
With that, I think I'm going to read for a little bit and go to sleep early. BUSY week ahead. Really busy.
