It's Friday and I've been quite remiss this week. Too much "hectic" with Surgery Education Week. It's always a joy of a week; if it's possible to leave something both energized and tired, that's about how this goes. The people I get the opportunity to reconnect with, though, are always a joy.
It's Friday and that means that it's time for Trust, Gratitude, and Inspiration. Let me get my thinking cap on....
I am trusting that I am enough in so many ways. Not "enough" in the sense of complete sufficiency and not needing anyone else. "Enough" in the sense of "occurring in such quantity, quality, or scope as to fully meet expectations." That word that has been dogging me lately is back- expectations. My expectations. My "should look likes" that I generate in my own creative space. I am enough to meet them. Sometimes I am more than enough.
I am grateful for people who "get" my passions in life and with whom I'm able to safely share my less-than-conventional ideas. Namaste.
I am inspired by countless friends in the surgery education world who I had the opportunity to spend time with this week. They help ground me in why I do what I do. They truly do inspire me.
