I know, it's been a little while. Heck, I still haven't even posted about my word of the year- which I promise I will share sometime sort-of soon.
Anyway, it is Friday. Therefore, it's time for TGI.
Today I am trusting that the "right" thing is going to happen about me going to Haiti this week. I've thrown it out there, I've offered, I've done the things I can do to help make it happen. It looks less likely that I'm going with every hour that passes, and if I stay home it just means I'm supposed to be here. It's not all about my will, after all.
Today I am grateful for all that I have. I know, it sounds trite, but all of these pictures from Haiti- they've been a great reminder of how much I really do have. It's overwhelming.
Today I am inspired by the quirkiness of Bob Schneider. Great songwriting, wonderful music, and if you listen closely you might just hear something about werewolves. And if he's not enough, the new Patty Griffin album is streaming on NPR until the January 26 release date. Beautiful stuff!
