I know, I'm late for TGIF (though for ME, I'm on time). I had time to write on Friday night but I honestly wanted to wait until Graduation-palooza 2010 was over. I had some students in the class that graduated yesterday to whom I've become very close, and I feel like a proud Mama Duck right now.
Today I am trusting that I'm doing things right by doing them "my" way. I've learned that leading with my heart and working from a place of authenticity puts me in a place where I work best.
Today I am grateful for the many, many gifts that I have been given. I mean this in a spiritual/ metaphysical sense, not in a material one.
Today I am inspired by those "ducklings" I mentioned above. They are amazing, kind, compassionate, brilliant, and funny people. My wish and hope for them is that they'll hang on to all of those qualities through residency and will carry them out into the world of medical practice with them when they get there. They have so very much to offer, and I'm privileged to have been involved in this portion of their journey.
