I ain't ever lookin' back until I get just what I need

Saturday again, though this seems to be the nature of things for me. I could have written last night, but sleep won out- particularly since I'm on trauma call tonight.
Today I am trusting healing....unremitting quad spasm 6 weeks before a half-marathon = no bueno. It's feeling better, though, and the 4 mile "test" today went well. I will heal in time for San Antonio. Period.
Today I am grateful for the clearing that seems to be going on around here; the Equinox seems to have been associated with a sense of change for me. I've been clearing physical clutter, mental clutter, working on some social clutter. It's liberating- and opening (that part is kinda scary!).
Today I am inspired by a number of friends, colleagues, and mentors who I got to see at the College of Surgeons Clinical Congress this week. I am privileged to know some incredibly talented, intelligent, and brave people.
