Continuing my Reverb10 reflections and catch-up. I'm struggling with today's prompt, so I'll start with one I previously didn't get done.

Community. Where have you discovered community, online or otherwise, in 2010? What community would you like to join, create or more deeply connect with in 2011?
I've gone to irreverently referring to my collection of girlfriends as my "Girl Scout Troop". It's a fairly fitting description of these strong, beautiful, adventurous women who make my life the rich place that it is. One of the challenges inherent with my Girl Scout Troop is that they're geographically scattered- some here, one in Montana, one in California, one in Georgia, a couple in Texas, and I'm certain I'm forgetting one or two with that summary. The point is that it's nearly impossible to connect the dots between this group of women, and I wish that were easily possible. One of my goals for 2011 is to work on a way to make that happen. You know, some sort of Girl Scout Camp....

Make. What was the last thing you made? What materials did you use? Is there something you want to make, but you need to clear some time for it?
The last thing I made? Supper tonight (finally!). Chicken, broccoli rabe, and feta on garlic toast, if you're interested- all organic (of course), and it really was tasty. What do I want to make? I want to jump into a knitting project- be it these baby blankets or something else- with both feet. I'm hoping that my spring travel time will let me get some fun things made.

I really am stuck with today's prompt, in which I'm to write a letter of advice for the coming year to myself in 5 years. I'll have to ponder and come back to it- mostly because 5 years from now seems a good distance off right now. It's almost overwhelming for me to think on that time line, quite frankly.
