What is it drives the driven snow now?

Wow. Friday. It's one of those Fridays when I'm not entirely certain where it came from (straight out of left field?).
Today I am trusting that I will find a constructive way to move past my crabby tiredness from earlier this week. Yes, I'm still a bit pissed, quite frankly. I need to figure out a way to make that work to my advantage, and I trust that I will.
Today I am grateful for a couple of friends who talked me off of my ledge on Wednesday. One was expected, one less so.
Today I am inspired by the amazing songwriting of Josh Ritter. You should know by now that I love stories, and he does that as well as anyone. His performance at Red Butte on Tuesday was mesmerizing.

If you're following the news in Oslo today, I recommend this from The Bloggess if your heart is hurting (mine is). I'm particularly shaken because in the Spring I put together a vacation itinerary in Norway and I would have been in Oslo today. Something kept me from scheduling, I still don't know what, but I'm grateful to have been in the space of peace at my home. Prayers for all...
