If you sat me down at 17, stared me in the face, said, "This is where you'll be at 35"

I know, the blog has been looking like a ghost town, other than my Epic Thanks post the other night.  Life got the best of me for the last month, as is often the case this time of year.  I'm realizing that the October/ November time frame is always just hard for me, I think just because of the predominant energy that's out there.  In ayurveda, it's seen as Vata...lots of wind, lots of ether, lots of challenges for grounding.  Now that I think I've figured out the issues, my goal for next year is to figure out how to best preempt/ minimize them.  That's the hard part.
With that preface, back to our usual TGIF programming.

Today I am trusting that I won't let this week's work frustrate me.  I'm covering a week in the ICU at the cancer hospital, and let's just say it's a VERY different planet than my usual habitat in Burnlandia.

Today I am grateful for more things than I can list succinctly.  I've been using November as a month dedicated to gratitude, choosing one thing every day.  It's been a good reminder of the big and the small things in my life.

Today I am inspired by this.  It's so easy to argue for our limitations, to convince ourselves that things can't change just...because.  Let's just say this provided me with some good food for thought at JUST the right moment.

With that...bedtime, or at least book time, for me.
