I'm participating in a "super-secret" mission this week with a group known as EpicThanks. One of our very first assignments is to upload a photo that demonstrates gratitude for something. Those who know my sweet Tucker Ted know that he is a rescue kitty. We met through "online dating" on the Colorado Siamese Rescue site a few years ago, and I was immediately smitten. We've been together for 5 1/2 years now, and every day I am grateful for Brian, who rescued him from the shelter (he was on kitty death row for being a "bad cat"- something I can't believe!), the Colorado Siamese Rescue folks for bringing us together, and to Tucker for being my first brave venture into animal rescue. I'll confess- I've not looked back once!
I now have two more rescues. First, Belle!:
And then...Kita.
I wouldn't trade any of these 3 for ANYTHING, even on the days when Belle! is trying to destroy the dining room chairs...
Back to EpicThanks. Their goal is to build a secondary school out of donations given based upon things for which we're all thankful. I've committed to helping them make room for one student in that school, but really...I would rather that it were two or more.
So, join me in being grateful. Epically thankful, as it were.
