I know you've gotten used to where I've been

I suppose I could do something structured, maybe use a prompt since I have some more sitting around...but i'm not tonight.  You get a random riff brought on my a chaotic day (found out my flight was going to be delayed and I would miss my connection exactly 75 minutes before the best option was scheduled out of PHL- and made the flight!) and lots of plane time.  At least it was productive plane time, allowing me to get some things off of the infernal, eternal to-do list.  I just knew that I did NOT want to get stuck in PHL tonight, both because I'm not a fan of the city and because I really wanted to get home.  I've already been thoroughly rewarded for being home by a certain freckle-faced Siberian husky, who gave me a giant hug (yes, she gives hugs).Tucker is walking all over me as I type.  And Belle!- well, she came through, greeted, and ran off for important Belle! business. Who knows?

So, home, settling back in.  Contemplating the menu for the week because I would love to make something that's a new treat for me for dinners.  Organizing the usual competing priorities.   Wondering if there is something I need to get done that I'm forgetting.  Reveling in the handsome fluffiness who is helping me write.

Home is good.

Coming off of Daylight Savings?  Not so good.  It's dark when I go to work regardless because of early meetings (sunrise is at 703 now, rather than 803 at least), but sunset at 518?  Too.  Damn.  Early.

With that, it's time for me to bundle up and take a certain friend out for a walk. Because we can.  Because we missed each other.  Because I am glad to be home.
