Somali doctors graduate
It's a pretty short snippet from NPR tonight, and I'm actively looking for more information somewhere.
But the story is too good to not share. I have the utmost respect for the rigors of med school, and that was living in the "wilds" of College Station and Temple, TX.
I can't imagine having lost some of my classmates to crossfire- or having our graduation ceremony in a secured location.
These people are heroes in the most pure sense of the word. Their commitment to humanity and healing? Bigger than most of us can understand.
